Waxing Time

She recently reached her second birthday.  Sunday is the Miata's turn for waxing.  Unfortunately, it's almost time for the hardtop too.

Corn and Car

We made an annual visit to the Ohio Prairie Preserves to look for hummingbirds and wildflowers.  I can usually go weeks without spotting another BRZ or 86.  Today we spotted an orange 86 in Summit County and a white 86 in Delaware, Ohio.  It was a grand day for being in a wonderful vehicle.  The image above is of Breezy parked along side a corn field while we stopped for a visit at Smith Cemetery.

About Me

Since I am posting to this blog, I should post a bit about the two main rides in my life.

The Miata has been with us since new.  She came with steelies and bright metal trim rings.  In late 2018 we added daisy wheels from an older car which had been lowered and stanced by its new owner.

In fall 2018 the miata was joined by a Subaru BRZ.  Like almost everything we have owned, it has a manual transmission.  We bought this new after trying and failing to work out the details for a yellow one.  These are unknown by most people and considered too low on power for enthusiasts, but they are a wonderful, spirited ride.

The roads are filled with many different and interesting vehicles.  This blog is to celebrate all those differences.  Please post and comment.  Thanks for visiting.
