Corn and Car

We made an annual visit to the Ohio Prairie Preserves to look for hummingbirds and wildflowers.  I can usually go weeks without spotting another BRZ or 86.  Today we spotted an orange 86 in Summit County and a white 86 in Delaware, Ohio.  It was a grand day for being in a wonderful vehicle.  The image above is of Breezy parked along side a corn field while we stopped for a visit at Smith Cemetery.

Six Doors?

Streetside views create some weird images.  I saw this one recently when looking streetside at a geocache location.

A little image work created this.

We probably don't want to give GM ideas.

Baseball, Hot Dogs, Apple Pie, and ...

Chevrolet!

It's the Fourth of July.  It's time to enjoy some socially-distant, safe holiday fun.  We visited a friend the other evening (yes with masks and socially distant).  I didn't worry too much about staying away from this old Monte Carlo.  By the mid 90's when this Monte wore the Z34 markings to denote the 3.4l V6 under the hood, the cars were just a FWD shadow of the past.  This one is very clean inside and out with a perfect leather interior.

I liked the early ones from 70-72.  By the late 70's they were big and garish in my eyes.  This old timer is a survivor.  Happy 4th.  May you all stay safe and healthy.  The blog title today came from an old series of Chevy ads like the one below.
